I love making things from them. It allows me to use many colors and patterns to give my quilts depth and movement.
I have several large bins of fat quarters! I have lots of FQs in boxes with pattern ready for me to start my next project along with stacks of coordinated FQs that are just waiting for the right pattern. They are great to take to retreats to make community service quilts and quick gifts. I have only been quilting for one year, but, what a stash I have. My sister and I, two senior citizens, bought a house together and turned the master bedroom into "A Quilting Room".
Our days revolve around quilting and this book would be a great addition to creativity. Oh golly, I have no idea how many fat quarters I have…? I love to collect fat quarters and find them so useful when pulling fabrics together for a new project! Whenever I visit a quilt shop I make a point to purchase a fat quarter for my collection. This book would certainly help me turn my fabric into some beautiful quilts! This book would help me use them. I could destash over 75 fat quarters easily. Truthfully, could do twice that and not really notice.
Oh dear, have been quilting and buying FQs for 30 years. Do not think I could count high enough to count how many I have not used. Help, I need the book and currently ready to start a new project.
